Carefree

First published on January 28, 2018. Here it is again.  I think the picture was taken in 2009 at a train station in India.  Since then train stations have undergone massive upgrade. Not sure if they still welcome stray dogs.  In which case, I am not always sure ....what an upgrade means. Is someone else making sure these lives are taken care of? 

A Dog at a train station in India.  Resting, without a care.  Knowing fully well, that people around him will accommodate him, feed him, and for the most part, not withstanding noise at the place, will let him be.  

Looking at him, I am reminded of a proverb, 'Ghode bech kar bona'.  Sleeping, after selling all your horses.  Meaning sleeping with abandon, no care, no worry.  

Don't we all wish for this?

The white that you see is the snow on the roof of the storage area outside a house. 

The twigs are from a fence without any leaves.

Except the red bricks, the picture almost looks like its black and white.

Gott Nytt År, Och God Försättning

 That is how you wish someone a very happy new year.  Gott, means, nice, and delicious........

So, it means have a great new year, and good continuation. I love that expression. 

I went to my neighbours house and they were playing this movie.....such a winter mood...had to get a clip...

She also always has candles lit, which I used to as well....although this season has been crazy...

Hmmmmm...ginger bread cookies and candy cane....larger than life, what else can spell holiday season_

I got gifts too, my friend Ann got me two handmade gifts from a Karlstad artist.  Beautiful style gloves and a ceramic cow....I will get pictures of them here next time...
