Fight Aging, Fight Hard ??????????????? Really?

I found this outside a salon/spa---and I stood there thinking...SERIOUSLY??  Having said that I must say that you hardly see these things in Sweden, and that is why it stuck out so much. And they used a 30 year old to talk about aging-----Uggghh....

Dreamy Dubai

My family took me to Dubai this year. Only a short vacation, but it was fun. We have been on vacations before, but often in instalments. In this case we even travelled together on the plane, so it was beautiful. But since our final destinations were different I stayed behind a few extra hours.  I could not but marvel at what the country has made of itself, considering it is all created on a desert land.  Definitely a testimony to man/woman's desire to establish itself against all odds.

Just the name which is arabic but also used in Indian languages, and means court, reminds us that the country's largest immigrant population hails from the Indian subcontinent.  The moment I landed there I started using my own language. 

Världen i vår Village (The World in Our Village)

And on my way back home from cooking with Russians, I came across this little festival at the bus stop. The world food and culture festival. There were stall from Srilanka, Crepes from France, Flowers from Netherlands, and eatables from Britain.  However small, it brought the world to us!! (July 23rd, 2015)
