All this focus on gainful employment outside of the house has reduced housework to 'checklist'. Home and hearth were connected to stomach, spirit and sinne (Swedish word for mind).
Focus on money and management of other people's affairs has killed what women were actually supposed to do....be the foundation of a civilisation. Today they work more and for others, like a slave. But our modern world dupes them into thinking they are 'free'!!
